Which race will take place when?

The races of the Garmin Bike Cup take place on Saturday. The adult races will start in the morning in Evolène, the children’s races in the afternoon from Les Haudères. Attention this year the cadets will start on Saturday morning in Evolène. The races of the European championship will take place on Sunday at the departure of Evolène. All the finishes will be in Les Haudères

Will it be possible to register in Evolène?

Due to covid-19 restrictions, all registrations will have to be done online

What are the conditions to participate in the European Championships in the Master category?

According to the formula of the reigning European Master Champion, Fabien Monnier, you need a helmet, a mountain bike and a license from a federation affiliated to the UEC. And of course you must be over 30 years old!

Is it possible to come and try out the course before the race?

Yes, but even at the beginning of June there are still some patches of snow on the course. The GPX tracks are available on the pages of the different races.

In the current situation, which races could take place?

Currently, only the European Championship races as well as the children’s races could take place without number restriction. The other categories are now limited to 15 persons. This information will be updated as the situation evolves.

What test do I have to do to take the start?

For all races of the European Championships on Sunday, all participants and the support staff that wishes to access the start/ technical or arrival zone needs to provide a certificate of vaccination or a certificate of a negative PCR or rapid antigen test performed in the 72hrs before accreditation for the race.
We strongly recommend to take an autotest (available free of charge in pharmacies) for participants of the amateur races on Saturday and for parents that accompany their children for the kids races.

I am coming from abroad. What are the steps to follow?

The rules for entering Switzerland depend on the countries you visited in the last 10 days and the mode of transportation to enter the country. A nice overview can be found here.

If the race is cancelled, what happens to my registration?

Registrations can be postponed to the following year or refunded (a fixed amount of 10.- will be kept by the organizers to cover part of the costs already incurred). The runners also have the possibility to donate their registration to the organizers 😉

I can't come on site. Is there any way to follow the races anyway?
